Watch on YouTube ↗Which build should you buy?
Start with G440 K if off-center contact costs you fairways. Test the shaft and playing length before paying extra for the newest head. A shorter fitted build can be a better purchase than a premium shaft that does not suit you.
Compare G440 MAX if the K premium stretches your budget; choose LST only when testing supports lower spin, or SFT when draw correction suits your miss.
What should you pay?
Our editorial shopping ceilings for a complete G440 K with a suitable stock shaft are $600 new and $475 pre-owned in good playable condition. These are suggested negotiation and watch-list budgets, not observed market averages, appraisals, MSRP discounts or promises that inventory exists at those prices.
A live market-based pre-owned target takes priority when sufficient trusted data is available. It applies only to the featured build. Without that evidence, the editorial ceiling remains visible so you can plan a purchase. It does not imply a calculated flame rating.
Treat the ceilings as a starting point: reduce your budget for grip replacement, visible wear, missing accessories or restrictive return terms. Premium shafts and special editions need their own comparison. Shipping and tax are additional.
Buy now or wait?
Buy when the complete club matches your fitted specifications, the final cost meets your budget, and condition and seller terms are acceptable. A low price on the wrong loft or shaft is not a useful saving.
If the available build is above your ceiling, compare another suitable head or wait for new inventory. No recent trusted offer on ClubSnipe means our current coverage has no qualifying listing; it does not mean the manufacturer or every retailer is sold out.
Before you purchase
Confirm K on the sole: G440 MAX and G440 K are different heads. Check the adjustable rear weight and hosel for damage.
- Confirm complete driver, handedness, loft, shaft model, flex and playing length.
- Inspect the face, crown, sole, hosel, weights and grip; ask for additional photos when necessary.
- Compare the delivered total and check return costs, condition grading and any warranty terms.
- Confirm stock and the final price on the retailer page before paying.
